I have done my part. I have fought long and hard. And not just for myself. In my profession as a law enforcement officer, it has always been the needs of the public that I have placed first and foremost. For over a decade I backed this statement up with my life; risking it daily and never from the sidelines. So do you read these tales of horror and say that you are glad it wasn't you or someone you knew? Well, guess what, it dates back to 1995 and it is still going on today! So it may be YOU or a loved one or a friend. This is not about me anymore, it never really was.

Apathy means lack of interest or concern. Don't let this apply to you!

Knowledge is Power. Exposure can compel action, even if through shaming those who should have acted, morally, ethically or legally. You can help by printing one of the two flyers and leaving or posting at public locations, like Post Offices, Librarys, supermarkets, anywhere where decent people might see them. The first one is just a simple flyer that you can cut in half to make two small flyers:

Criminals need two elements; desire and opportunity. Obviously the criminals described herein have had plenty of both, and because of this, have become more bolder. You may think that you are safe. But consider this? What if you, or someone you love, runs afoul of one of these people who so freely victimize the innocent? What then? Do you think lawyers are going to save you? Well, I am living proof that not only they can't, but that they can make matters worse! You think that because you live a good life, obey the laws most of the time, that you will not be a victim?

When Hitler came for the Jews... I was not a Jew, therefore, I was not concerned. And when Hitler attacked the Catholics, I was not a Catholic, and therefore, I was not concerned. And when Hitler attacked the unions and the industrialists, I was not a member of the unions and I was not concerned. Then, Hitler attacked me and the Protestant church — and there was nobody left to be concerned.

So what can you do? Remember, all evil needs to succeed is for good men to stand aside and do nothing. Do something, anything. Write to you local politicians, all who I have made sure were made aware of this demented regime that preys upon the innocent at the expense of the publics safety to protect those who deserve no protection. DEMAND an answer. Let me know what they say!

If you are a law enforcement officer, feel free to share this site with your Union or Lodge. Demand they contact their State Lodge or even National level Lodge or Union. Demand that they speak up and take action. It may be you next that falls into disfavor for no reason other than someone wants to be promoted or has a vendetta.

When cops prey on cops, everyone loses and everyone can be the next victim. As you can see on the Hall of Shame, both the FOP and the PBA Presidents care more for politics than they do for the rank and file. And really, what have they ever done for the members, other than waste our dues fighting each other! When have you last seen the FOP or the PBA support a fellow member en masse!?

I implore you to help me by calling and mentioning this site, and that you see that US Attorney Chris Christie has and is doing nothing against this homegrown terrorist conduct, and I think that is an accurate description, just ask victim Felicia when she was dragged out of her home in the middle of the night if she wasn't terrorfied!

When I became aware that Burlington County Persecutor Bernardi was up for reappointment, I immediately filed my opposition with Codey. I sent a letter to Codey insisting he do the right thing and to NOT reappoint the current Prosecutor here in Burlington County Prosecutors Office. :

Hate me, like me, agree or disagree with me, it doesn't matter. What matters is New Jersey and the residents therein and the expectation that what is right will be done over politics.
 
You and I both know this rarely happens. Well, here is your chance to throw a wrench in the wheels so to speak and do something different - do not reappoint Bernardi to the Burlington County Prosecutors Office, and do not appoint someone for political favoritism. This County has endured this degraded and subversive criminal enterprise for far too long. Just for kicks, put someone in who will clean it up and run it legally. I know you are aware of my site, and my victimization, as well as what is going on here in this County.
 
It will cost you nothing to do the right thing, but will cost this County a lot if you do the wrong thing. Appoint someone with moral, legal and ethical integrity and do not appoint a political lackey.

Suprisingly, I was contacted and asked to send this and some other information to the Governor's Council. I thought, dare I hope that some sense of right may be forthcoming? Here is what I wrote:

Dear Ms. Naughton:

RE: Potential reappointment of Mr. Bernardi to Burlington County Prosecutors Office

As requested, please find the attached letter initially emailed to Acting Governor Codey that prompted receipt of the letter advising it had been turned over to the office if Chief Counsel Paul Fader.

I wish to impress upon you first and foremost that my purpose is, and always has been, the betterment and safety of New Jersey, and specifically Burlington County. As a crime/domestic victim, and a former police sergeant of the highest integrity, and only "former" because of the criminal conduct that arose out of the Burlington County Prosecutors Office, I am more than qualified to weigh in on the potential reappointment of Mr. Bernardi as County Prosecutor for Burlington County.

I direct your attention to my website listed below for details that support my position. Please do not discount my opposition to this reappointment as simply being vindictive or retaliatory. It is not. It is solely based upon the firsthand knowledge that this County Prosecutors Office has been in engaged in criminal conduct prior to Mr. Bernardi, and during Mr. Bernardi's administration. What is on the website does not reflect all, although what is there should be sufficient. Mr. Bernardi I know is and has been made personally aware of, and has been an active participant in the misconduct.

Also, aside from the matters pending in Federal Court, it is anticipated that prior to years end, a Federal Complaint will be filed naming among other people as accused, Mr. Bernardi. So it would be in the State's best interest to distance itself from Mr. Bernardi if only for the controversy that Complaint and all its details when it is made public knowledge.

In closing, let me recommend the following simple acts that the Acting Governor can do to improve the safety of New Jersey:

1. Replace the Attorney General with a person of integrity and with intent to "clean house" as requested with the County Prosecutors Office position;

2. As seen on my website, the integrity of the other State agencies, such as the Office of Governmental Integrity and the State Commission of Investigation, are seriously compromised and also need to be overhauled.

3. Create an State level "internal affairs" unit of non-partisan law enforcement that will have overlapping appointments so that whoever would be in charge could not suffer ramifications if allegations of misconduct are levied against any Governor in Office to promote integrity and independence.

The answer - the Grand Jury

The ultimate tool for checks and balance...power of justice in the hands of the people! Access to County Grand Jury to present evidence of crimes for the Grand Jury to decide to investigate.

Demand that your politicians sign into law a statue providing unhindered access to the Grand Jury by private citizens. Then, and only then, can real accountability and integrity return to New Jersey. See my efforts on the Hall of Shame relating to this when I filed an Amicus Curie brief when a private lawyer tried to do just that and the NJ Supreme Court shot it down. Interestingly is the fact that they allowed the leader of the documented crime ring, the Burlington County Prosecutors Office, to file a Amicus Curie brief to oppose the efforts of this lawyer to have access to a County Grand Jury to present evidence of crimes, yet denied my same request in support of this action! Here are recent letters for a Federal strengthening of the Federal statue that allows one to request to appear before a Federal Grand Jury to present evidence of federal crimes. Of course no answer:

 Previoulsy there was information here wherein I had written to the new Inspector Generals Office and the confirmation was shown, proving it got there. However, no answer at all ever came, so I sent a second letter which can be seen on the updated page. However, I feel it important to share an op ed article I wrote for another online site that trys to improve New Jersey (Hall Institute). The article is short and concise and shows many and how out of control these false front Offices and Agencies  are in New Jersey. All are supposedly geared towards combatting corruption but none do, and if the latest, the Public Advocates Office has an operating budget of $19 million, can you just imagine the amounts the other combine must suck from the residents of New Jersey? I strongly ask you contact USAO Chris Christie and demand he take action. To date, he refuses to do so. Perhaps now that he has dropped out of the Governor's race, he is less worried about who he might offend and will do his job. The NJ Attorney General (insert name here of current position holder) is useless and a waste of time to write, since this agency is involved.

Update: As of July 19, 2005 I have made at least five calls to Christie's office and guess what? No return calls. Feel free to fax his office expressing your displeasure and demand an reply as to why he is not acting on my website. So not accept the standard reply  that all investigations are "secret!"

Support bill ACR133 submitted by Assemblyman Merkt who wants the authority to review and discipline lawyers taken away from the NJ Supreme Court. I agree with, especially when the NJ Supreme Court itself engages in criminal convictions (convictions 100% unlawful) of the innocent:
